Opening Night: BIG EDEN

Big beautiful landscapes provide a breathtaking backdrop for Tom Bezucha's utopian vision of gay life outside the city limits. When New York artist Henry Hart (Arye Gross) is informed that his grandfather is seriously ill, he skips his first major gallery show and races to his grandfather's side. Returning to Big Eden, Montana for the first time since high school, Henry finds that much remains the same...including his affection for high school sweetheart Dean (Tim DeKay) who's recently moved back to town. However, a few crucial differences become apparent: in the time they've been out of touch, Dean has married, divorced, and now cares for his two sons. And Pike (Eric Schweig), the guy who runs the general store, has started behaving strangely whenever Henry's around. In a town filled with matchmakers, secrets, and assumptions, it's anybody's guess where true love will be found. Bolstered by a talented supporting cast including Louise Fletcher and George Coe, BIG EDEN is a fantastic tale of destiny and romance set right here in the picturesque Northwest.
