SEATTLE SHORTS
There's more to Seattle than coffee, dot coms, and traffic jams: there's the unsung filmmaker! We are pleased to present Northwest talent with an eclectic mix of video shorts by local artists. PLEASE DON'T HATE ME (BECAUSE I'M BEAUTIFUL) spotlights international entertainer Hellen Bedd in her first music video. Two women discover THE RAPTURE that draws them together. The pulsating GRACE-DAMPUNDERBARRENSOIL observes chaos and stillness in the city. THE BOYS IN THE BEAN tells a scary tale of childish wonder and rotten luck using Super-8 film, video, and found footage. Try to hold it during this program - you'll want to stay out of the bathroom, for there lurks THE KILLER KRAPPER.
