GREAT DOCUMENTARIES
This has been a stellar year for documentary films with award-winning PARAGRAPH 175 leading the pack. Directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman's stunning documentary provides a haunting look at homosexuality in the Nazi era. Director Debra Chasnoff (IT'S ELEMENTARY) will be here to present her latest work, THAT'S A FAMILY, a colorful and enlightening blend of animation and interviews that celebrate families of all shapes and sizes. And we're thrilled to present NUYORICAN DREAM the story of one gay man, Robert Torres, and his Nuyorican family. And these are just the tip of the iceberg; keep your eyes open for many other great documentaries throughout the festival.

GREASE SING-ALONG
Everyone's favorite festival event is back, the SING-ALONG, and this year GREASE is the word! SONS OF HERCULES
MGM film archivist John Kirk presents SONS OF HERCULES, a clip show celebrating international beefcake flicks of the 60's. Steve Reeves, Ed Fury, Mark Forest and more! SHOWGIRLS with DAVID SCHMADER
Upon its release in 1995, Paul Verhoeven's SHOWGIRLS was immediately lambasted as one of the worst films evera big, gaudy, vulgar, and perverse cinematic disaster of epic proportions. Revisiting SHOWGIRLS in 2000, writer and performer David Schmader discovers that Verhoeven's humiliating failure is also the single most entertaining movie ever made. Saturday October 21 at 11:00pm.

Work In Progress: BY HOOK OR BY CROOK

On Saturday October 21 at 4:30pm.
