After being fired from his production gig on SIX FEET UNDER, Christian tries his hand at becoming a successful Las Vegas entertainer. An intrepid documentary crew charts his progress-from casting calls to dance lessons, from photo shoots to strip clubs, and finally (and mostly unsuccessfully) to auditions. In telling his story, star and co-director Christian Taylor makes his character both entertaining and accessible. Through elation and despair, Christian maintains the determination and passion of someone committed to following his dreams. With a sparkling soundtrack and an excellent supporting cast (complete with surprising, hilarious cameos by the Vegas elite), SHOWBOY is a charming story of fortitude, fortune, and the inexplicable power of dreams.
