ALL IN THE FAMILY: SHORTSSILENT MOVIE MATINEE

Saturday, October 19
12:00pm
Little Theatre

The charm of the Saturday Matinee is back with these short films that the whole family will enjoy. With a contemporary queer twist, these films recreate the unique magic of the silent film era – from Westerns to love stories – where all it takes is one good heroine or hero to save the day! At first glance, you may think she’s just a dog in a cowboy hat, but Sheriff Blaze keeps the town safe as the best BALLOON WRANGLER in the Old West. In ALICE AND THE AURIFACTOR, young Alice enters the world of bedtime stories to face an evil sorcerer who is oppressing a land of deaf people. Two men wake up one morning to make an interesting recipe in SWEET LIFE, and the result is truly a bundle of joy. Finally, an homage to the classic Chaplin movies tells the story of a tenuous romance between a soldier and a waiter, with love eventually conquering all in WAR STORY.
