Ever wish the Real World had more than one Queer Eye? THE EXPERIMENT: GAY AND STRAIGHT chronicles the lives of ten Chicago-area strangers of varied ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, and prejudices during a week of cohabitation. Five are gay, five are straight. Participants agree to leave behind their jobs and their families, cutting themselves off entirely from the outside world. They are given daily assignments, tasks, and challenges involving sexuality, with the intended goal of forging a better understanding between America’s gay and straight communities. Refreshing, crisp, in-your-face, and tender, this feature has it all. The good news is that everyone wins this “amazing race”!
