Jilted lover Nabou is a slacker obsessed with her blue-haired ex-girlfriend, Katja. In order to spy on her, Nabou takes a job as a maid for Kim, the cool ad exec who happens to live in the apartment downstairs. As Kim fights off racist barbs in the office and contemplates marrying her white boss, Nabou intensifies her efforts to win Katja back, until she discovers that Katja might not be the person she wants after all. With a script by Fatima El-Tayeb and perhaps the hottest lesbian sex scene to date, Everything Will Be Fine packs a delightfully original romance with insightful commentary on race and class without skimping on humor and sensuality.
